Domestic Missions
Hurricane Katrina Recovery - We sent an adult work team to Mississippi and a youth work team to New Orleans to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina with recovery.
Hispanic Ministry -
Hurricane Isabel Recovery -
Hurricane Floyd Recovery - We sent three work teams down east to help in the recovery from this disaster. We also joined many other churches in offering financial assistance for the recovery.
Azalea Village - We have been a regular presence at Azalea Village and are in the process of expanding out outreach to the elderly of this home.
Canning Hunger - Canning Hunger is a program didicated to helping feed hungry kids and their families right here in our own community. we distribute all of the collected food on a non-discriminatory basis through qualified agencies that specialize in serving the community. The Canning Hunger program works with churches throughout America to help bring an end to the national epidemic of hunger. For more information on current projects contact Tony and Karen Freeman.
Families in Need - We have provided funds and furniture to migrant families in need. We also have constructed a wheel chair ramp for a boy so that his mother could have the ability to take him outside.
Great Leaps Tutoring - In the winter of 2002 we launched a tutoring program at Cooper Elementary School. Volunteers spend an hour a week to help Hispanic children learn to read in English.
John Wesley Endowment - We have given generously to the John Wesley endowment for starting new churches among the poor in North Carolina.
Priority Associates - A ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, that is committed to winning people to Christ in the marketplace. Jay Stott, one of our members, is the director of the Raleigh Area division of Priority Associates.
Culinary Comforts - We provide culinary delight to our church family members in need due to illness, death, or during the recovery period of childbirth. We share our love for Christ and each other by providing nutritious meals, fellowship, and pryers for the family during their difficult time.
